This well known prayer written by Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971) is one of my favourites. It has been on my mind all day and I’m thinking someone may need it now.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
