How many times do we suppose things are going to happen that don’t? How much time and energy are wasted with such supposing? I like what Pooh Bear has to say on the subject.

Life can get us down sometimes; we get sad, depressed, tired, lonely, in pain, and the thought that we cannot tolerate another bad news story or take another step on the road of life sometimes leaves us feeling totally helpless. When it happens to me I think of this picture and see myself as the lamb around His neck. Happy Monday.

Many of us are truly horrified with what’s going on in our world today. Revelation tells us that Jesus has a vision for our world and what it will be like. It may not be in your time or mine, but there is always hope. Happy Sunday.
Here is a little quote that just came my way. I love it! The wind does talk; the silence does speak; and your heart? Yes, it knows. Happy Saturday.

Even though many of us are still in quarantine, the days just seem to zoom by.
Meetings are held on Zoom. Parties are held on Zoom. Work is done on Zoom. Even church is held on Zoom.
Zoom is a wonderful way to stay in contact with others in this time of social distancing and quarantine. I’m looking forward to eye to eye and hug to hug personal contact once again but in the meantime I’m very happy to be part of zoom days.

There are so many ways in which blessings come to us; visits, caring phone calls and emails. People asking for prayer and someone saying they are praying for us are blessings. Getting an unexpected hug in times of social distancing is a definite blessing. Knowing God loves us and is with us always is the ultimate blessing. In these uncertain times, it is so good to know that. Happy Sunday.
With all that’s going on in the world today, I’m sure many of us are wondering where it’s all going to end. I believe this cartoon captures it well. Happy Saturday.

It’s a new day…a chance to do one thing different; a chance to reach out to someone; a chance to pay it forward; a chance to mend a relationship; a chance to make a difference. It’s a chance to forgive; a chance to start over; a chance to share; a chance to change; a chance to encourage someone; a chance to take a chance. It’s a new day.
It is said a picture speaks louder than words.

We all know of the heartbreaking death of George Floyd on May 25th. Whatever his past deeds, this cruel and callous end to his life was not warranted. It has not been an easy road for George and his people and the road ahead will not be easy, but all of us can be a part of justice and world change by keeping the picture of Mr. Floyd’s brutal death alive in our hearts and minds. This atrocity should never again touch a black life, or any life for that matter. Peace be with you.
“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ Matthew 5:21.
