Have you ever heard the question, “What would your childhood you want your adult self to know today?” Here’s my answer…sing it out! Happy Sunday.
Have you ever heard the question, “What would your childhood you want your adult self to know today?” Here’s my answer…sing it out! Happy Sunday.
Sometimes all we need in life is a little peace. May today be the day this happens for you. Happy Saturday.

September 11, 2001. Who can ever forget that fateful day when the twin towers fell in New York City due to a terrorist attack at 8:46 a.m. One of my grandsons had his eighteenth birthday that day and said his birthday would never be the same again. I was reading a passage in scripture this morning, Isaiah 30:25 “In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall…” This had nothing to do with 9/11…or did it?

Do you ever feel that you are a slave to a life of busyness, illness, pain, commercialism…all the things that prevent us from enjoying the life we were meant to live? Sometimes just hearing a lovely peace of music can remind us that through it all we were born free and one day we will be free again.
To all who are facing many storms in life at this time I wish you a rainbow. Happy Sunday.
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13

Sometimes it’s nice to be different. It has been said to me, “You’re different.” I have never asked in what way am I different in case I didn’t like the forthcoming answer. But seeing this photo I like the look of different. Since we are all different in one way or another, what’s the difference? Happy Saturday.
I love quoting quotes and this one from Abe Lincoln sure gives us something to think about. Do we complain or rejoice.? Take your pick.

This photo of my newest great-grandchild and her father spelled trust to me the moment I looked at it. It reminded me of Isaiah 41:10…“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
From the time of your birth to life’s final day, He will hold you up. Happy Sunday.

Don’t you just love to be convinced of something you have had much doubt about? It could be a belief, a news story, someone’s opinion…any number of things. It’s that “aha” moment that suddenly gives us a new perception of an old conviction.
When we meet someone this convincing it’s as if they could talk the devil into going to church. Happy Saturday.
“To decide we don’t believe in something, it has to exist for us to have an opinion about it.”
The above came to me from a daughter of a friend who is an avid reader and collector of quotes and it makes perfect sense to me.
Choose something you don’t believe in and see where it takes you when you truly think about it….very interesting concept.
