Whether you have gone fishing or not, let the weekend be all it is meant to be for you. Reel in each day as it comes and enjoy every moment.

Remember the list we made of things that make us smile instantly? Well, here’s another one.
A good news letter in the mailbox…
A single parking spot in a full lot…
A friendly wave in traffic…
The ice cream truck’s jolly jingle…
The word “uppy” from a tiny tot with up-stretched arms…
A sudden show of dimples in a smiling face…
Birds feeding birds…
People hugging people…
A rainbow after a storm…
Parched plants perking up after the rain…
Again, this is only a list of ten but you get the idea; so many things can bring an instant smile. What made you smile today?
How many of us make a list every day? We list our groceries, things to do, appointments to keep, phone calls to make, etc., etc.
Today I’m making a different list…a list of things that make me smile instantaneously…and here it is:
Birds in the birdbath and at the feeder
Squirrels chasing each other up and down trees and along high wires
A toddler toddling
A baby’s laugh
An elderly couple holding hands
An unexpected hug
Children at play
A good news phone call
The instant flash of a red cardinal
A robin’s plump red breast
That’s only ten but I could go on and on. The best part of making this kind of list is that it makes me smile all over again just thinking about these things.
What gives you a sudden smile? Do you have such a list?
From the time you arise until the time you retire, may your Sunday be filled with all you desire.
My prayer for you this Sunday…

Winter can be snowy, blustery, cold, slippery, and lengthy for those of us who are not snow enthusiasts. And then something like this appears to cheer up the day and put a smile on even the most frozen of faces. It certainly put a big smile on mine. It’s from “The Beauty of Every Season Photos” and once again, was shared on Facebook. Are you smiling? Look at the birds of the air…Matthew 6:26

Love is in the air. Have a blessed and love-filled day:)

Every day there is something to smile about…well, mostly every day; family, friends, babies, memories, a full moon the night before, a squirrel looking for a handout at the door, playful puppies, skittish kittens, blessings by the number…smiling is good for the facial muscles.
Yesterday this picture was posted to my Facebook Timeline by one of my daughters. It really gave me something to smile about and I hope it stretches your facial muscles too.

A few days ago I posted “Call on the Power Inherent in You”. It wasn’t among the most popular posts and I wondered why. Perhaps owning our power is a little hard to understand. Perhaps we don’t know how to go about it. Yesterday, I found the following on the internet. It is about a six-year-old little boy using his power to make people smile. Just click on the link and find yourself smiling and crying at the same time. God bless his little self! https://www.facebook.com/doc.hallenstein/videos/10206458106986026/
