There seems to be an abundance of anxiety in our society today, taking away our right to contentment and happiness. Here are a few scriptures to help combat this unfortunate state of mind. I hope they will help to bring you a happy Sunday.
This photo reminds me of Psalm 121: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills…” Today, let us lift up our eyes and see beyond what we normally see. Happy Sunday.

Whatever we are up to this Sunday, as we give thoughts to your plans and activities, may our thoughts turn to God in the midst of this day that he has made for us. Happy Sunday.

Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week because not only do I get to worship, pray, and sing, I get to be among the two or three and so many more, who are gathered together in His name for the same purpose. There is no room for loneliness on this day. Happy Sunday.

Sunday…another day to give thanks, especially on our Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. Thanks for family, friends, food, fun, safety, blessings and all good things.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 107:1
Happy Sunday
How spectacular to be part of God’s nature on a Sunday or any day. How awesome also to hear his gifted musicians. Happy Sunday.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 NIV
This Sunday we at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Scarborough will be gathering in His name under the trees replicating a service in 1818, kicking off our 200th anniversary celebrations. This is just a hint of what’s to come. Happy Sunday.

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
Kum Ba Yah, my Lord, Come by here…
Wherever you find yourself this Sunday, why not offer God this invitation; whether crying, laughing, singing, praying, Kum Ba Yah, my Lord, come by here. Happy Sunday.
