More Lexophilia Laughs

Now that I’ve found this new word, lexophilia, I’m insatiable as you can see:

How does Moses make tea? Hebrews it.

I changed my iPod’s name to Titanic. It’s syncing now.

A girl said she recognized me from the vegetarian club but I’d never met herbivore.

I did a theatrical performance about puns. It was a play on words.

What about the cross-eyed teacher who lost her job because she couldn’t control her pupils.

And then there’s the guy who got a job at a bakery because he kneaded dough.

And the man who dropped out of communism class because of lousy Marx.

Velcro – what a ripoff!

Broken pencils are pointless.

Don’t worry about old age; it doesn’t last.

That’s all for today, folks.

Happy Saturday

Though Your Heart is Breaking

Here is a song that carried me through some very difficult times in my life and I know of many people at this very moment who are living this song right now including myself. Smile was composed by Charlie Chaplin in 1936 with lyrics added in 1954 when Nat King Cole recorded it. It’s a beautiful song with a beautiful message…another lesson in life.

Whatever It Takes

The way to a happy weekend is to make someone else’s weekend happy. What can we do to accomplish such a fine feat? Look for a way to make someone’s day; a phone call, a visit, a hug, a handshake…whatever it takes to put a smile on a face. Happy weekend.
