With all that’s going on in the world today, I’m sure many of us are wondering where it’s all going to end. I believe this cartoon captures it well. Happy Saturday.

With all that’s going on in the world today, I’m sure many of us are wondering where it’s all going to end. I believe this cartoon captures it well. Happy Saturday.

Here is a scripture that profoundly changed my life once I truly realized its meaning. When we begin to change our way of thinking and open up to the fact that there is more to this world than the day to day physical activities, grudges, hurts, etc., then a whole new life begins to take shape. Simply put, change your way of thinking. Go ahead…be transformed. Happy Monday.

How often in our lifetime do we encounter people who suffer from narcissism or visions of grandeur or even the ‘holier than thou’ syndrome. This has been said of me because of my complete surrendering of my life to God.
Then there are those who constantly think of others with care and compassion; who put the needs and feelings of others before their own; whose very existence is spent in the service of others.
The thing is, our world is in the grip of a virus that is striking people down mercilessly not stopping to differentiate between royalty and the commoner, the rich and the poor, the young and the old; the homeless and the mansion dwellers; or people like the above .
We, the world, are in what is being called a silent war, and we are in it together. Altogether. All together.
This virus has been named many things by many people but someone recently dubbed it ‘the great equalizer‘ I hope and pray that we will never again have to be reminded to think of our world as one, no matter our life status, creed, or culture. Our world.
Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. John 13:16
I blogged this song at Easter time in 2017 but we need to hear it again now in these surreal times. Get well, world.
Although the world looks dark at the moment with all the closures, social distancing, dying, frustration, anxiety, etc., when I think of my family and friends and the closeness we can still share via social media it brings a smile to my face and hope to my heart. This little image is for all of you who light up my life.

All over the world people are coping one way or another with Covid-19. Some people have managed to escape it, some have a mild case and others have succumbed to it. The media is top heavy with this news, making life quite uncomfortable in many respects. Today’s hymn is meant to bring some peace of mind. I pray it works for you. Happy Sunday.
All over the world there are clocks ticking and people learning to tell the time…little ones, especially.
I have written a few time posts because I find the topic fascinating. Today I suggest you spend some of your time thinking about time and its many connotations.
No matter what time it is in your part of the world there is always time to ponder. Happy Saturday.

My seven-year-old great-grandson loves his twenty-one-month-old little sister more than words can say. This picture says it all. Remember that saying, “actions speak louder than words”? This is it in a nutshell. My prayer is that we and the world would know such pure love.

There is so much in our world that we don’t understand should we take the words of John Lennon of the Beatles, and the scripture, Luke 1:38 “Then Mary said, “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” Happy Sunday.
It really doesn’t matter where in the world you live, what kind of weather you are experiencing, how much money you have or don’t have, or even if you are in a good or bad mood, choose to enjoy the day…unless you are being severely tested, as some are in some parts of the world. If you are among those enjoying a blessed life, pray for those who are devastated and have a Happy Saturday.
